Long Beach State women’s volleyball loses a heart breaker to the Texas Longhorns.

The No. 2 ranked Texas Longhorns were a heavy favorite coming into the Walter Pyramid Saturday night, but the young Long Beach State squad was up for the challenge.  However, after taking the first 2 sets, LBSU could not hold off the more powerful Longhorns losing in 5 before an announced crowd of 1,761.
