Softball vs Cerritos

LBSU softball played their second game on their fall ball schedule.
The Long Beach State softball team hosted Cerritos College on a beautiful fall day. This was their second game on their fall ball schedule.
These games are used by the coaching staff to take a look at all of their players, and see how they have improved from last season or how they are adjusting to college ball.
Coach Kim Sowder played the majority of her roster, outside of Turner who is still not cleared to play, and the team preformed reasonably well. The pitching and defensive looks solid, but the young ladies are still putting it together behind the plate.
The team next plays on October 30th at 1:30 pm against Mt. Sac, one of the stronger JC programs in California.
