UCLA too Tough
The No. 8 Long Beach State men’s water polo team comes up short against the No. 4 UCLA Bruins in a MPSF home match.
The Long Beach State men’s water polo team (8-9, 0-4) fell behind early and could not put enough together to overcome the UCLA Bruins (18-5, 3-2).
The Beach kept it close but 6 unanswered goals in the second half was too much to over come and the 49ers lost the match 9-3.
“They did a good job of keeping the ball out of the center position, we really couldn’t get anything going offensively,” LBSU’s Coach Arroyo said.
LBSU will next face No. 3 Stanford at the campus pool on November 7 at noon.
