LBSU beats Pacific

The Long Beach State women’s volleyball team defeats the Pacific Tigers in an important late season conference match.
The women’s volleyball team from Long Beach State avenges an earlier loss by defeating the Pacific Tigers in four sets on Friday night: 25-14, 21-25, 25-15, 25-22.
The team was once again led by Naomi Washington with her 20 kills, but very solid performances were made by Caitlin Ledoux (13 kills) and Lauren Minkel (21 digs).
The lady 49ers return to action Saturday night against the first place UC Davis Aggies.
“We just have to stay focused,” Naomi Washington said. “We beat Davis in three… [now] they are in first place in our conference and… it surprised everybody”.
