Long Beach State ends the regular season at the Mizuno Thanksgiving Classic
The Long Beach State women’s volleyball team ended the regular season going 3-1 at home during the Mizuno Thanksgiving Classic.
The Beach started the tourney off with a 3-1 loss to TCU before rebounding with three straight victories over UNLV (3-1), LMU (3-0), and Utah (3-2).
The following sunday the Big West Champion 49ers learned that their first round opponent in the NCAA tournament will be UCLA on their home court. LBSU defeated the Bruins in three straight sets earlier in the year on a neutral court.
