The following images were shot at the Walter Pyramid during the men’s basketball game between the Pacific Tigers and the LBSU 49ers. The Beach did not look very good in the loss and seem to have regressed from some excellent play earlier in the season.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Pacific outscored Long Beach State 32-12 in the final 13 minutes en route to a 74-52 Big West Conference win over the 49ers in the Walter Pyramid Wednesday night.

Pat Eveland came off the bench to lead Pacific (17-8, 9-3 BWC) with 23 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the floor, including 5-of-5 from 3-point range. Sam Willard added 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting as the Tigers made 53.1 percent (26-of-49) of their field goal attempts and 52.6 percent (10-of-19) of their 3-pointers.

Eugene Phelps led LBSU (12-14, 6-7 BWC) with 13 points and seven boards. T.J. Robinson added 11 points for the 49ers who made just 37.5 percent (21-of-56) of their shots, 22.2 percent (4-of-18) of their 3-pointers and 40 percent (6-of-15) of their free throws.
